Morandin gets a new look «Courage to not die»

TREVISO – In the center that gasps and struggles to start again, there are also those who invest. Morandin changes its look and starts a new season: “Staying still means dying – Stefano Morandin and his wife Cristina say. – We hope to be an example also for others in the city, because change and innovation bring benefits for everyone”. In the four different rooms of the shop, antique frescoed walls and modern graffiti mix together, giving hospitality to porcelains and crystals, classic furnishings and design vases. “The tourists who pass here always enter, attracted by the windows and the products, because we have been able to go beyond the traditional shop – the owners reveal. – We change, in order to keep up with the times and attract all types of public”. A few steps away from via Palestro there are no shops, there are those who close and those who complain, those who announce drastic measures to survive and those who wait for better times. Investing substantial sums in a suffering Treviso, when colleagues sometimes even lose their hope, is a sign of confidence: “This city has a great strength, it is the best possible place for trade, but it cannot sell itself in Italy or abroad – Morandin says – and if it does, it hurts. That’s why we need the contribution of all, and that’s why we chose di start”. The business started in 1958: since then, the family has continued to believe in the project with passion. “Travelling, importing, discovering, creating: this is the future of commerce”.
